Money Markets Development Data Collection and Analysis Platform

Among OGResearch's clients are Development Financial Institutions. The company conducts money markets research for it. Questionnaires in Excel format are sent to the largest financial organizations in researched countries, which are filled out by their employees and sent back, where the data is processed and analyzed manually.

The process was associated with various problems. This format was not effective because many errors occurred during filling in tables and information processing. Besides, there was a risk of losing valuable data while sending and storing files. The concept had to be reconsidered in the format of a web platform with a convenient and clear interface.

To create such a platform, OGResearch needed strong front-end developers. Sibedge experts were requested to join the project, as we have extensive experience in interface design and successfully develop software for large financial organizations.

Discovery Phase

The development started with a two-week Discovery Phase, during which the Sibedge analyst delved into the subject area, studied the business tasks, decomposed the work, evaluated the project, and agreed on the budget and deadlines with the customer.

Development

The backend component was developed by OGResearch experts, and our experts were involved in the development of the frontend. We have developed a unique design of the questionnaire, designed a web form to be filled out by employees of financial organizations and pages with the results of analysis of the received data, which would include graphs and statistical calculations. We should also highlight the interface for operators. It helps OGResearch experts check conflicting responses in the questionnaire and correct obvious inaccuracies and typos that cannot be detected automatically. This allows the company to save a lot of time. All data is now stored in the cloud, which prevents the possibility of loss or accidental deletion.

Team and technologies

We also tested the system and created detailed technical documentation for the operation of the web platform. A team of five people worked on the project for three months. The Angular platform was chosen as the core technology.
